Miko Coffey BFA FRSA has been building websites since 1995, and has spent the last 7 years using Squarespace to create websites for her clients at Using My Head, where she works as a freelance web consultant, helping people do things better online.

Over the years, Miko has worked in nearly all aspects of online marketing, from designing and building websites, to managing web projects and teams, to developing e-mail marketing, social media, and other online communication strategies. As such, she brings a wealth of experience to the table, incorporating real-world business advice into her practical writing, providing added value to the reader. Miko’s past clients and projects cover a range of types and sizes of organizations, from The Royal Society for the Arts, to Channel 4, to small start-ups and non-profits. Miko’s passion is enabling people to communicate better online, by demystifying the often confusing online landscape, and giving people the skills and tools they need to make their work easier, their bumps smoother, and their lives better.

Although Building Business Websites with Squarespace 7 is her first book, she has been blogging for many years, and you can read more Squarespace advice - as well as handy hints on Wordpress and other online marketing tools - on her blog.

When not working with clients or generally spending far too much time online, Miko enjoys photography and crocheting, and hanging out with her husband and two fur-kids (cats) Kuma and Toshi.
